STOP THE COB !!!!!!

The Public Hearing for the extension of the Enterprise Zone
for COB Energy Facility
will be this Thursday.

Thursday, February 24, 2005 at 10 a.m.
in the County Commissioners' Hearing Room
at 305 Main Street, 2nd Floor, Klamath Falls

If you can't come and want to express your opinion, you could call the
county commissioners on Tuesday or Wednesday at 883-5100 or email
them at their addresses shown below:

Al Switzer          [email protected]
John Elliott       [email protected]
Bill Brown         [email protected]

I believe the decision they will be making Thursday is whether or not to expand the enterprise zone.
I think the decision as to how much of a tax break to grant will come later.  However, if you believe that there should not be an energy facility sited in Langell Valley OR if you believe that COB should have to pay their full share of taxes THEN THERE IS NO LOGICAL REASON FOR OUR COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO EXTEND THE BOUNDARY OF THE ENTERPRISE ZONE TO INCLUDE THIS LOCATION IN LANGELL VALLEY.

If anyone has questions,  please call .  Time to speak at the Public Hearing will probably be limited to 3 minutes or 5 minutes.

Thank you.
